SUPERFOOD CHOCOLATE

1 cup cacao paste (grated / chopped) OR

1 cup of dark chocolate (75% or more)

½ cup cacao butter OR coconut oil

¼ cup liquid sweetener of choice (honey, maple syrup, coconut nectar)

1 tsp vanilla extract / powder (optional)

pinch of salt

 

Melt in a bowl over a pot of boiling water (water should not touch the bowl!). Stir until dissolved. Turn off the heat and add:

  • ½  tsp medicinal mushroom powder (chaga, reishi, cordyceps, lions mane etc)

  • ½ tso other adaptogens like maca, ashwaganda, astralagus, shatavari etc

  • a few drops CBD oil (optional)

 

Toppings of choice:

 

  • macadamia nuts

  • brazil nuts (high in selenium!)

  • cashews

  • shelled hemp seeds (high in omega 3&6 and protein)

  • goji berries

  • bee pollen

  • freeze dried berries

  • cacao nibs

  • toasted coconut chips

  • pumpkin seeds        

  • roasted almonds
