The Pink Bowl

Each of these Matcha bowls is hand-shaped from stoneware clay. Every piece is unique, carefully modeled by hand and finished with a combination of self-developed glazes. The surfaces feature a bold, crater-like texture — with an earthy copper-based green and a distinctive soft pink, created through high-temperature firings with metal oxides.
 
About the Artist:
Marion Benoit is an artist and ceramicist who works closely with her own materials, crafting and experimenting with her glazes to create unique surfaces and layered colors. Her pieces blend craftsmanship, color, and imagination — inviting you to slow down, savor the moment, and enter a poetic, meditative world.
 
Her studio Maison Merveille is located on the Atlantic coast of Southwest France, named after her house where she also creates her ceramics.
