It's been almost six months since our last newsletter went out and I really don't know where the time went but …there is a really good reason for it (obviously).
First of all - the brand has grown!
We are now a team of 3 and I think this has actually been the biggest accomplishment for me. Finding / attracting the right people for your company is maybe the hardest part of it all - no matter how “good” your product is. If you don't feel some kind of bond, trust and respect for and with your team mates - it simply doesn't work (at least not for me). And actually the REAL big news were only possible because of the team. And a common vision. Therefore we decided to re-brand. From LISA MUELLER MATCHA to GROUNDED MATCHA.
Sometimes you just know when it's time for a change - without urge, stress and maybe even real reason at that moment but when all the stars align - you better go for it and don't miss the chance. As you can see - the main difference, besides the name, is the colour which was so important for me to represent the green of high quality ceremonial grade matcha powder. One big advantage of our matcha compared to most other brands is that as we are a small business that is working closely with (family) farms and blenders in Japan who are not mass-producing for the market, we get our “Morning Ritual” matcha powder grounded to order. Which means, the tea that has been dried and stored from the Spring harvest will get produced freshly for us and sent within 10 - 14 days. Therefore you will never get matcha older than 3 months as of ordering - always the freshest, most vibrant, flavourful but also nutritionally dense matcha powder which you can taste.
